I was both excited and nervous yesterday as I prepared to go to the Sun City Library to give a book talk. I arrived extra early and got things set up. To my surprise, some attendees arrived early, too, and we sat around chatting. That was wonderful, because it let me get to know some of them, and it helped me relax a bit. By the time the actual presentation began, I felt a lot better about speaking to the whole group. We had eighteen people in attendance. A good size group.

The attendees asked some wonderful wonderful questions, which I didn’t prepare for, but they were fun questions that made for an enjoyable conversation. I want to thank everyone who came to my book talk and made it a wonderful experience!

I have a less formal event coming up on April 10th, from 10 AM to Noon, in the RH Johnson Library in Sun City West, Arizona. As far as I know, that will be more of a ‘meet and greet’ event open to the public. I will be happy to sign copies of my books, too. I hope that if you’re in the area, you’ll stop by and chat with me.

As for the future, I’m always looking for other venues to give book talks or to do meet and greets. If you have a book club or other group that would like to meet me and learn about my books or to talk about one or more of my books that you’ve already read, please contact me at [email protected] or contact me thru the contact form on this website or through Facebook.

Thanks!
