It’s been a while since I posted about my book’s progress, so I wanted to give an update. I’m about seven to ten days away from finishing the first draft of Bloodlines and Barbed Wire. It is the sequel to my historical/genealogical mystery novel, Breadcrumbs and Bombs.
Expect some returning characters as well as lots of new characters. The book’s modern day setting is California and Arizona; it’s historical setting is Germany, the Sudetenland, Poland, and Italy during WWII.
As soon as I finish, I’ll begin working on rewrites and edits. Then the book will go to my editor for final edits.
The book cover designer is currently working on a book cover, too! I’ll post pictures as soon as I have the book cover–or, if I have several good covers to select from, maybe I’ll post a few samples to get voted on.
